Last weekend, the kids and I went to the Nashville Library (Main) for their International Puppet Festival. We made puppets - more like a simple marionette - and then saw an hour+ long play of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The play was mostly spoken in a Shakespearean language, but Alex and Andrew seemed to understand and enjoy it. Lucas mainly sat on my lap and seemed to like some parts, but he was getting antsy towards the end. Afterwards, we walked around through the library's beautiful courtyard which has a nice fountain, and then we had lunch (hotdogs and snowcones!) in front of the library where they had other puppet activities. There was another fountain there, too, which the kids decided to get in to for a little bit. It was hot out! Overall, we had a really great time...even though daddy had to work! :) Pics for this can be found on my website at:
